HOUSTON, Texas – Andy Andrade and Lukas Greif concluded another successful day in the qualifying draw at the Texas Tamale Co. Houston Cup on Monday, as both Gators notched wins on the day to reach tomorrow's final round. Main draw action is slated for tomorrow (Sept. 17), as Oliver Crawford and Sam Riffice will begin competition at the George R. Brown Tennis Center.
Andrade, the No. 10 seed in the qualifying draw, would defeat Nikola Samardzic, 6-2, 6-3, to advance to the final round, while Greif followed with a decisive 6-3, 6-2 finish over Eduardo Neftali Irizarry.
In the first round of main draw competition, Crawford will face Sumit Sarkar, while Riffice awaits a matchup with one of the six qualifiers to earn spots in the main draw.
