Gators Open at No. 4 in Baseball America Top 25

This is the second outlet to rank the Gators in the top five of their preseason ranking.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A third preseason ranking is out, and the University of Florida baseball team is once again a top-5 team, according to the Baseball America Preseason Top 25, which was released Monday afternoon. Florida is now ranked No. 4 by both Baseball America and D1Baseball. Earlier this month, Perfect Game ranked the Gators 13th.

Florida has been ranked in Baseball America's Preseason Top 25 for the 11th straight year under head coach Kevin O'Sullivan, and this is the ninth time the Gators are in ranked in the top 10.

Baseball America also ranked six of Florida's 2020 opponents, including six of the top 13 teams: at No. 5 Miami (Feb. 21-23), No. 12 Florida State (March 10), No. 7 Georgia (March 13-15), vs. No. 12 Florida State (March 24 - Jacksonville, Fla.), at No. 11 Arkansas (April 2-4), at No. 12 Florida State (April 14), at No. 13 Auburn (May 1-3), and No. 1 Vanderbilt (May 7-9).

Florida opens the 2020 season Feb. 14 against Marshall at McKethan Stadium. Season tickets and Flex Passes for 2020 Gators Baseball and the final season at McKethan Stadium are on sale now and can be purchased online through FloridaGators.com or by calling the Gator Ticket Office at 1-800-34-GATOR from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
