Farrow and Lydon Conclude First Preliminary Session for Gators

AUBURN, Ala. -- Alex Farrow and Nick Lydon both took to the 3-meter diving board for the No. 9 Florida men's swimming and diving team on the first preliminary session of the 2020 SEC Championships at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center.
Farrow led the way with a score of 337.35, good for a 11th-place finish.
Lydon posted a 21st-place finish with his overall tally of 275.20.
Prior to the prelims, the Gators also had a duo compete in the time trials.
Tyler Silver posted his best 100 back swim of the season, touching in 47.07. The time would secure a B-cut for the senior.
Grant Sanders would also notch a B-cut in the 100 breast with his swim of 52.95.
What's Next
The first finals session will begin with the women's 1-meter, followed by the 200 medley finals.
The men's 3-meter will then take place, before 800 free relay wraps up day one competition.
