GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gators track and field and cross country program signed eight high school student-athletes and added four more via transfer for the 2020-21 athletics season, head coach
Mike Holloway announced Friday. The group joins 14 signees announced late last year.
Â
"Very excited about the latest additions to the Gator Track and Field Family," Holloway said. "We were able to add national level athletes as well as depth that will make us more competitive at the conference level. Anxious to watch them all grow and develop in the program."
Â
This group joins a men's program which holds a Division I-leading nine NCAA Championship since 2010, and a women's program that boasts eight top-five finishes at NCAA Championship meets during that time frame, as well as five Southeastern Conference titles in the last 12 seasons.
