The Gators' put together some strong individual performances, including a top 10 win in doubles and a singles victory for junior Sydney Berlin, but they couldn't get over the hump against the Knights. Dropping a 4-1 decision, Florida fell for the third-straight match. All three setbacks have come at the hands of top 25 opponents from the Sunshine State.
No. 26 McCartney Kessler and Marlee Zein teamed up for an impressive 6-2 win over No. 6 Rebeka Stolmar and Marie Mattel of UCF. Florida came up short on courts two and three though as it conceded the doubles point for the third-straight match.

Freshman Sara Dahlstrom had her sights set on her third victory of the season but saw her match go unfinished against the Knights with her leading 4-0 in the final set. The same was true for Ida Jarlskog who played an excellent match on No. 3 for the Gators but her contest would go unfinished as the Knights clinched the match on court one.
The Gators have faced a tough non-conference slate so far with three their four matches coming against ranked opponents. Thursday will be its final non-league challenge as it set to open SEC play Friday, Feb. 19 at Alabama.
