GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida closed the second and final day of this year's Pepsi Florida Relays Saturday at Percy Beard Track inside James G. Pressly Stadium on high note as several Gators clinched spots on UF's All-Time Top 10 list, coupled with performances that rank highly in the nation.
Freshman jumper
Claire Bryant, who logged the third-best long jump in the nation this year and in school history Friday (6.68 meters / 21-11), returned for day two of the relays to make her way into Florida's Outdoor All-Time Top 10 list in the high jump, too. The long jump 2020 NCAA Indoors runner-up cleared 1.75 meters (5 feet, 8.75 meters) in the high jump to tie for the No. 8 spot in school history.
On the track, redshirt sophomore
Gabrielle Wilkinson added to the Gators' distance crew impressive weekend. The runner won the 800 meters with a new personal-record time of 2:03.88 to rank sixth in school history while jumping to the No. 3 spot of this year's NCAA Division I Outdoor Qualifying list.
Newcomer
Talitha Diggs finished third in the 400 meters after crossing in 52.09 seconds, which is the 10th-fastest time in the nation this year.
On the men's side, fellow freshman
Ryan Willie also finished third in the 400, but with the eight-fastest time in program history and the fourth-fastest in the NCAA. Willie logged a new personal-record time of 45.12 seconds.
On the relays, Florida's 4x100 team—headlined by
Dedrick Vanover,
Clayton Brown,
Tyler Davis and
Joseph Fahnbulleh—clocked the fifth-fastest time in Division I this year with an exciting first-place finish. With Fahnbulleh running fourth leg, the squad clocked a time of 38.39 seconds to secured the NCAA top 5 spot.
Other notable performances included personal records by
Edward Shelikoff (54.30 meters/178 meters, 2 inches) in the discus,
Marshall Dillon (8:22.30) and
Emily Culley (9:41.27) in the 3,000 meters,
Abbie Harrelson (2:06.56) in the 800 and
Jacob Miley (47.17) in the 400 meters.
Saturday's performances added to an already impressive outing Friday, when senior
Thomas Mardal set a new school record in the hammer throw and
Clayton Brown established himself as one of the top jumpers in the NCAA this season.
Mardal logged a mark of 75.77 meters (248 feet, 7.25) to take the lead in the NCAA and improved his own Florida record, while Brown made his way into the NCAA's top 5 in the high jump with a mark of 2.23 meters (7 feet, 3.75 inches).
Meanwhile, Fahnbulleh secured the No. 2 spot on this year's NCAA Division I Outdoor Qualifying list and in the world in the 200 meters with a time of 20.10 [+1.0] seconds that ranks sixth in school history.

The Gators will remain home for the rest of April, as they'll be back in action in two weeks to host this year's Tom Jones Memorial Invitational at Percy Beard Track in James G. Pressly Stadium in Gainesville.
PEPSI FLORIDA RELAYS MEET INFORMATION (all times Eastern)
HEAD COACH MIKE HOLLOWAY
On hosting the Pepsi Florida Relays after having to cancel in 2020
"It's an amazing feeling to have the Florida Relays going again, especially three months ago we didn't know if it was going to happen, I'm really happy about it."
"It was strange not having the big masses of athletes and the big crowed, but we have to be cognoscenti of what's going on in the world. The pandemic is real, COVID is real. We will gradually get the Florida Relays back to where it was, but right now we have to be smart, and worry about health and safety measures."
