
Bicknell Named to 2021 SEC All-Newcomer Team

Undefeated season earns sophomore the nod
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Florida's Blaise Bicknell was named to the 2021 Southeastern Conference All-Newcomer Team, the conference announced.
The sophomore earned the recognition following an undefeated season in singles play, recording a 23-0 dual match record and a 32-0 tally overall.
Bicknell became the fourth player in school history to go undefeated in dual matches (min. of 20 matches played), joining Jim Oescher (27-0, 1975), Armistead Neely (24-0, 1968) and Kevin Cook (20-0, 1976).
Bicknell is also 30-0 in his career in dual matches (7-0 in 2020) and was named Second Team All-SEC in addition to this honor.
