More than 30 athletes with ties to the University of Florida will be at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Games.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After an additional year wait, 32 Gators are ready for 2020 Summer Olympics competition.
The 32 Gators is the third most for a Gator Summer Olympic contingency and stands No. 5 among the nation's collegiate programs. There were 35 Gators at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Games. UF had 31 representatives in 2016.
In addition, the U.S. coaching staff has three with Gator ties: Current Gator Head Coaches:

Competition Schedule:
By the time of Friday's opening ceremonies, five Gators will have competed in at least one 2020 Olympic event.
A trio of Gator alumnae – Michelle Moultrie, Aubree Munro, Kelsey Stewart – start off Olympic action with a pair of softball games:
Tuesday, July 20 at 11 p.m. ET vs. Italy NBCSN
Wednesday, July 21 at 8 p.m. ET vs. Canada NBCSN
Canada's soccer roster includes two Gators – Adriana Leon and Deanne Rose.
Wednesday, July 21 at 6:30 a.m. ET vs. Japan NBCSN
Swimming action begins July 24.
The SEC Network airs a show Thursday, July 22 at 7 p.m. ET dedicated the 214 league representatives in the 2020 Tokyo Games. Florida's 31 leads all SEC programs.
Gators have 2020 Olympics representatives in eight (8) different sports: Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Gymnastics, Soccer, Softball, Swimming and Track & Field
Gators are representing 16 different countries in Tokyo: Australia (1), Bahamas (1), Canada (2), Cayman Islands (1), France (1), Germany (1), Jamaica (1), Japan (1), Jordan (1), Liberia (1), Puerto Rico (2), Serbia (1), United States (15), U.S. Virgin Islands (1), Uruguay (1) and Venezuela (1).
Gators will be competing in Softball for the first time. Gators have competed in following Olympic sports since 1972: Baseball, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Bobsleigh, Diving, Golf, Gymnastics, Judo, Soccer, Swimming, Team Handball, Tennis, Track & Field and Indoor Volleyball.
Three Different Gators heading to Tokyo already have won an Olympic medal: Will Claye (USA: 2 silver, 1 bronze), Caeleb Dressel (USA: 2 golds), Deanne Rose (CAN: 1 bronze)
Caeleb Dressel is one of three Gators who look for additional Olympic medals at the Tokyo Games. He collected two golds at the 2016 Rio Games. More on 2020 Florida Olympians:
