Florida has a chance to clinch the SEC Championship in Oxford
Match Notes
OXFORD, Miss. – The 12th-ranked Florida volleyball team (21-5, 13-3 SEC) closes out the regular season on the road with a two-match series against the Ole Miss Rebels (11-15, 7-9 SEC).
The SEC Championship race comes down to the final weekend of play, with the Gators able to clinch at least a share with two wins against the Rebels. The complete look at the scenarios can be found below.
Friday's match is slated for a 7:30 p.m. ET start, while Saturday's first serve is set for 5 p.m. ET. Both matches will air on the SEC Network + with Jake Hromada and Brittney McLaughlin on the call.
Florida split its last series with the then-18th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats, while Ole Miss dropped its last two matches to the Georgia Bulldogs a weekend ago.
The Gators hold the 56-3 series advantage over the Rebels, including a 27-3 record in Oxford, Miss.

- Once again, the 2022 SEC Volleyball Championship will come down to Florida and Kentucky
- For Florida to clinch the SEC outright:
- One Florida win over Ole Miss and zero Kentucky wins over South Carolina OR
- 2 Florida wins over Ole Miss and one Kentucky win over South Carolina
- For Kentucky to clinch the SEC outright:
- One Kentucky win over South Carolina and zero Florida wins over Ole Miss OR
- Two Kentucky wins over South Carolina and one Florida win over Ole Miss
- For a split SEC Championship:
- Florida and Kentucky have same number of wins on their weekend series
- *If this is the case, the SEC does not break ties, so both would be declared Co-Champions. Florida would receive the SEC's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament due to the tiebreaker which is head-to-head points won (139-136)
