Frieda Bühner Inks Professional Contract in Germany

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida women's basketball freshman, Frieda Bühner, has signed a professional basketball contract in Germany and will forego her remaining eligibility with the Gators, head coach Kelly Rae Finley announced Thursday morning.
"We are grateful for the time that Frieda spent with us here in Gainesville," Finley said. "We respect and support her decision to pursue a professional career back home in Germany and wish her much success. Once a Gator, always a Gator!"
Bühner appeared in four games for the Gators during the 2022-23 campaign, averaging 1.5 points and 1.8 rebounds for the Orange & Blue.
