WEATHER & PARKING REPORT
Both Friday's and Sunday's matches look like sunny skies will rule the day with highs in the lower 70s. There will be no parking restrictions for either match on campus at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
A LOOK AT THE SERIES
Friday will mark the 53rd meeting between the Gators and Rebels, with Florida holding a commanding 49-3 advantage all-time. In Gainesville, the Orange & Blue hold a perfect 21-0 record. During the 2021 campaign, Florida earned a victory over Ole Miss, 4-1, in Oxford, Miss.
The Gators have been just as dominant against the Bulldogs, owning a 40-1 series lead, including an 18-1 mark in Gainesville. Last season, Florida was victorious on the road, downing the Dogs for a 4-1 victory.
LAST TIME OUT
Last weekend, the Gators went a perfect 2-0 on the road in Southeastern Conference play, defeating Missouri, 6-1, and No. 36 Arkansas, 4-3. In perhaps two of the most important matches, Marlee Zein played clincher on both days to help secure Florida victories. McCartney Kessler also posted a perfect 2-0 mark in singles competition, now owning 97 career singles victories, needing just three more to earn 100 career wins.
