Marina Escobar begins play at the 2022 National Championships on Monday by teeing off on hole 10 at 4:31 p.m. ET at Grayhawk Golf Club.
FORMAT
The championship format in Scottsdale will include 24 teams and 12 individuals completing 54 holes of stroke play, and then the top 15 teams along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team competing for one additional day of stroke play to determine the top eight teams for match play competition and the 72-hole stroke play individual champion.
TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Escobar becomes the second individual to clinch a spot in the finals as Karolina Vickaova was the first in 2015, the inaugural year the top individuals in regional play qualified for the national championship as match play was added to the format.

There also have been three runner-up performances by UF as well - Sierra Brooks (2019), Andrea VanderLende (2003) and Deb Richard (1985).
