NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Florida men's tennis team concluded their first competition of the fall state with four wins overall on Sunday, Sept. 25 at the Commodore Invitational, hosted by Vanderbilt.

The doubles pairing of
Nate Bonetto and
Lukas Greif bounced back from their loss on Saturday with a dominant 6-0 victory over Vanderbilt's Mitchell Deames and Paul Wang.

Will Grant ended play on a tremendous high note by taking down No. 9 Tyler Stice from Auburn, 6-2, 6-2. This was the junior's third singles victory of the tournament.

Axel Nefve picked up his third singles win of the weekend in straight sets after defeating Belmont's Ian Cruz, 6-2, 6-3.

Greif looked dominant on the final day as the senior only lost one game in his 6-1, 6-0 triumph over Belmont's Niklas von Hellens.

The Gators will shift their attention to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championships, beginning on Saturday, Oct. 1 with pre-qualifying.
