GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida men's tennis team was selected to the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships for the 32
nd time in program history, as the 64-team bracket was revealed on the Selection Show Monday night.

UF (14-13, 5-7 SEC), ranked No. 20 in the nation, will travel to Tucson, Ariz. for a first round matchup against Oklahoma State (13-13, 0-5 Big 12). The winner of the match will face the winner of No. 14 seed Arizona (21-6, 6-2 Pac-12) and Boise State (21-7, 3-3 Mountain West).

The Gators will be coming off a two-week hiatus entering the NCAA Tournament after going 1-1 at the 2023 SEC Tournament in Auburn. After starting the tournament with a 4-1 win over the host team then-No. 22 Auburn, Florida fell to the top seed, No. 4 Georgia 4-0 in the quarterfinal.

The winner out of Tucson will face the winner out of the Ohio State Regional Championship, which involves No. 3 seed Ohio State, East Tennessee State, Louisville and Texas Tech.

GATORS IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
- This is Florida's fifth time in program history playing the first round on the road since the field expanded to 64 teams in 1999.
- The Orange & Blue last traveled for a first round match to Tallahassee in 2007, defeating Georgia Tech before advancing to the Round of 16 after beating Florida State in the second round.
- Head coach Bryan Shelton has guided UF to earn its 10th bid under his tutelage.
- Florida has made the NCAA Men's Championships for 31 consecutive years, dating back to 1991.
- Florida holds a 40-3 (.930) record during the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament and a 14-2 record under Shelton.
- Overall, UF is 64-30 in NCAA play and were crowned National Champions in 2021.
