Gator Soccer Places 20 on 2023 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida placed 20 soccer players on the 2023 Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey announced the 2023 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll today.
Florida's 20 soccer representatives included two who became Gator graduates in December of 2023 – Tessa Barton and Josie Curtis.
Among the four Gators on the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll with a 4.0 grade point average is UF soccer redshirt junior Tori Grambo.
Florida also placed six on the 2023 College Sports Communicators Soccer All-District team: More SEC academic awards available this summer to Florida soccer's first-year members (includes summer/fall freshmen and transfer enrollees) when the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll is announced.
To be recognized to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
