The doubles duo fell in the opening round of the NCAA Individual Championships
GAINESVILLE, Fla. –Doubles pair Tanapatt Nirundorn and Henry Jefferson fell in the first-round match-up of the NCAA Men's Doubles Tournament to Cooper Williams and Theo Winegar of Duke. The loss concludes the fall tour season for Florida.
Nirundorn and Jefferson battled hard against the Duke duo in extended sets. The pair took the first set 6-1, but Williams/Winegar responded in the second taking the victory 7-6. The Gator pair led 7-2 in the tiebreaker before dropping 0-1.
