Florida Takes Road Victory Over Clemson in SEC/ACC Challenge

CLEMSON, S.C. — The Gators defeated Clemson 77-64 Thursday evening in Tiger territory. The win at Littlejohn Coliseum marked Florida's first road victory of the 2024-25 season, and UF is now 2-0 in SEC/ACC Challenge match-ups.
 
Offensively the Gators were led by freshman Liv McGill with a 21-point outing. This marks McGill's fifth 20+ point performance in nine outings. Senior Ra Shaya Kyle also had a stand out night, posting her fifth double-double of the 2024-25 season. Kyle recorded 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Thursday evening for the Gators.
 
IN THE FIRST:
  • The game remained scoreless for the initial 2:36 of the game
  • Kyle snagged four of UF's 11 rebounds to lead the Gators
  • Kyle led offensively with six points
  • Florida shot a game low 33.3 percent from the field (5-15)
  • The score was knotted at 13-13 to end the first

  • Clemson was left scoreless for upwards of five minutes (8:07-2:37)
