
15 Gators are set to compete this week across the 2025 Toyota U.S. Open Championships, European Nationals and Brazilian Junior National Championships.
Florida Swimmers Primed for National and International Competition

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Following a strong fall campaign, 15 Florida swimmers are set to compete on national and international stages this week.
Four former Gators and nine current Gators are set to race at the 2025 Toyota U.S. Open, held Dec. 2-6 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas. Long course competition begins Wednesday at 5 p.m., followed by prelims Thursday-Saturday at 10 a.m. and finals each night at 7 p.m.
This event has been approved by World Aquatics to serve as a qualifying event for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) - Beijing 2026.
On the professional side, Bobby Finke, Caeleb Dressel, Kieran Smith and Emma Weyant will each compete in at least three events, with Smith entered in five and both Finke and Weyant set for four.
Grace Rabb leads the women's entries with seven events, while Aiden Norman paces the men's group with six.
Seven men will represent Florida's current roster, including Devin Dilger, Charlie Hutchison and Aleksas Savickas who are each entered in four events, while Matthew Cairns will race the 200m fly.
On the women's side, Lainy Kruger is slated for five events, with teammates Molly Mayne entered in four and JoJo Ramey set for three.
Every session will be livestreamed on the USA Swimming Network. This is the only way to watch the prelims sessions and the distance free session to open the meet, while day two and day three finals sessions will be on Peacock.
Internationally, sophomore Bea Bezerra and future Gator Koen De Groot will represent Florida. Bezerra is competing at the Brazilian Junior Nationals from Dec. 2-6 in Rio de Janeiro, while De Groot is slated to race the 50m and 100m breaststroke at the European National Championships in Lublin, Poland from Dec. 2-7.
