Florida looks to regain momentum after going winless against Florida State on Friday
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida men's tennis returns to action on Sunday with a doubleheader at Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex, taking on UNC Wilmington at 11 a.m. before facing FGCU at 4 p.m.
The Gators are looking to rebuild momentum after splitting their first four matches of the season. The Orange and Blue posted wins against Middle Tennessee and Georgia Southern but fell to then- No. 7 Columbia and No. 15 Florida State.
Overall, Florida has gone 10-7 in singles action, led by Kevin Edengren, Henry Jefferson, and Jeremy Jin with undefeated performances.
In doubles, UF holds a 4-5 mark, with the pairings of Tanapatt Nirundorn and Jefferson (2-1) and No. 76 Edengren and Jin (1-0) leading the way.
HEAD COACH ADAM STEINBERG SAYS…
"This is a very important doubleheader for us. Friday left a bad taste in our mouth and the only way to change is it to make the necessary adjustments and get back on the court. I know the guys are excited to be at home and compete for the Gators!"

ITA RANKINGS
Two Gators are ranked in singles competition: Jeremy Jin at No. 41 and Henry Jefferson at No. 106. Doubles pair Tanapatt Nirundorn and Henry Jefferson also cracked into the ITA rankings at No. 16. Kevin Edengren and Jeremy Jin round out the ranked players for Florida sitting at No. 76.
