
Florida Men's Tennis Travels to Face SMU

The Gators look to secure a road win against the Mustangs in Dallas
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Gators men's tennis looks to continue their season's success around as they head to Dallas, Texas to face SMU on Friday, February 7 at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex. The match is set to begin at 5 p.m.
The Gators now sit at a 4-2 record following a home sweep against UNC Wilmington and FGCU on February 2. UF clinched the doubles point in both matches and continued their momentum in singles action cruising to a 4-2 win over UNCW and a 4-1 victory against FGCU.
Florida enters the weekend with one player tabbed to ITA's new singles rankings, No. 54 Jeremy Jin . Florida's Tanapatt Nirundorn and Henry Jefferson doubles tandem also garnered a No. 11 ranking, followed by Kevin Edengren and Jin at No. 81.
The Mustangs enter the match with one ranked singles player No. 70 Trevor Svajda.
HEAD COACH ADAM STEINBERG SAYS…
"This is great test for us to go back indoors and play a very good team on the road. Practice has been excellent as guys are getting healthy, so the Gators are ready to go. Looking forward to the weekend!"
