Florida Faces Top-Ranked TCU on Sunday

Gators take on No. 1 Horned Frogs in Fort Worth on Sunday afternoon
FORT WORTH, Texas – The Florida men's tennis team will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to face No. 1 TCU on Sunday, February 2. The match will take place at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center with doubles beginning at 2 p.m. and singles following immediately after.
The Gators now sit at a 4-3 record following a road loss against SMU on Friday. UF did not secure the doubles point, but earned 3 singles wins in the 4-3 loss.
TCU enters the match with five ranked singles players: No. 6 Pedro Vives, No. 9 Lui Maxted, No. 18 Jack Pinnington, No. 92 Duncan Chan, and No. 111 Julian Alonso.
The Frogs also have two doubles pairs that earned ITA rankings. No. 2 Lui Maxted and Pedro Vives is TCU's highest ranked duo. Duncan Chan and Lui Maxted round out the ranked pairs for TCU at No. 65
Florida enters the weekend with one player tabbed to ITA's new singles rankings, No. 54 Jeremy Jin . Florida's Tanapatt Nirundorn and Henry Jefferson doubles tandem also garnered a No. 11 ranking, followed by Kevin Edengren and Jin at No. 81.
