This year's Arnold Palmer Cup will take place June 5-7 at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, S.C.
ORLANDO, Fla. - Florida men's golfer Jack Turner was named to Team USA for the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup, the GCAA announced in conjunction with Golf Channel on Tuesday.
Turner is the 16th Gator to participant in the prestigious event and ninth since 2021. Last year, Dudley Hart served as an assistant coach and along with Ian Gilligan and Maisie Filler, they helped Team USA to victory at Lahinch Golf Club in Ireland, 32.5-27.5
The Arnold Palmer Cup was co-founded by Arnold Palmer and the GCAA in 1997. A Ryder Cup-style tournament, the event features the top men's and women's collegiate golfers. Co-ed since 2018, it is one of the only events in the sport of golf that features men and women competing side-by-side.
The top six golfers from the spring's final ranking from both the United States and International men and women shall be among the individuals selected to compete in the Palmer Cup. The remaining six spots for the United States will consist of five committee picks, including at least one non-Division I golfer, and a coach's pick. The balance of the International team also includes five committee selections, including at least one representative from The R&A Student Tour Series, and a coaches pick.
The 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup will take place at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, S.C. from June 5-7.
