Florida Gators

JACKSONVILLE – Florida Gators Track and Field is set to begin competition at the NCAA East Preliminaries on Wednesday, the first of two meets that comprise the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
 
The Gator men will look to defend their title as the reigning NCAA Outdoor Track and Field team champions, after winning their third-consecutive outdoor team title in 2024. On the women's side, the Gators will look to break through for their first team championship since 2022, one year removed from a runner up finish at the national meet in 2024.
 
The Gators boast a total of 36 athletes entered 49 times, before scratches.
 
The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminaries represent the first rounds of the NCAA Championship Meet, and athletes that advance from the prelim rounds punch their tickets to the national title meet in Eugene, Ore.
