Luke Poulter joins Jack Turner (Team USA) for this year's Arnold Palmer Cup, which will take place June 5-7 at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, S.C.
ORLANDO, Fla. - Florida men's golf Luke Poulter joined Team International for the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup, the GCAA announced Thursday.
The 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup will take place at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, S.C. from June 5-7.
A redshirt-sophomore, Poulter recently earned PING All-Region honors during the National Championship after he shot back-to-back rounds of 70 (-2) in his national debut. He is the 19th Gator to play in the event, joining Jack Turner (Team USA) as Florida's representatives this year.
Poulter concluded the 2024-25 season behind his first collegiate win at the Schenkel Invitational with a 54-hole score of 208 (-8). In 10 postseason rounds, six were under par and three in the 60s while he went undefeated (3-0) in SEC Championship match play with 4&2, 3&2 and 4&3 victories. He had a stroke average of 72.3 (third-best on the team) with two top-5s, four top-10 and 25 finishes. Poulter held marks of average relation to par of -0.37 (18 holes) and -1.1 (54 holes).
The Arnold Palmer Cup was co-founded by Arnold Palmer and the GCAA in 1997. A Ryder Cup-style tournament, the event features the top men's and women's collegiate golfers. Co-ed since 2018, it is one of the only events in the sport of golf that features men and women competing side-by-side.
