Three Gators Earn 2025 SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll Accolades

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Three Gators – Skye Blakely, Lily Bruce and Selena Harris-Miranda – earned Southeastern Conference First Year Academic Honor Roll accolades, the league office announced today.
Earlier this year, Florida placed an all-time high 14 on the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.
Combine the two honor rolls to find that Florida gymnastics matched its all-time high 17 of earning league academic accolades this season. Florida set its high of 17 in 2022 and equaled that total also in 2024.
Florida gymnasts led all Gator teams this season with grade point averages of 3.71 (fall 2024) and 3.73 (spring 2025).
To be recognized to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
