Gators Announce 2025 Non-Conference Matchups

GAINESVILLE, Fla.– The Florida women's basketball team has unveiled its 2025-26 non-conference schedule, featuring a balanced mix of home games, in-state matchups, and a Thanksgiving tournament in the Cayman Islands.
The Gators will tip off the season with four straight home contests, beginning Monday, Nov. 3, against North Florida. The homestand continues with UT Chattanooga (Nov. 6), Jacksonville (Nov. 10), and Samford (Nov. 13), before Florida hits the road for a Sunday showdown at Navy on Nov. 16 in Annapolis, Maryland.
One of Florida's non-conference highlights comes on Thursday, Nov. 20, when Florida welcomes Florida State to Exactech Arena. The cross-state rivalries will continue as the Gators head to Boca Raton to face Florida Atlantic (Nov. 24), before traveling internationally for the Cayman Islands Classic.
At the 2025 Cayman Islands Classic, Florida will take on Memphis (Nov. 28) and Georgia Tech (Nov. 29). The back-to-back games will mark the Gators' 2025 Thanksgiving holiday tournament.
Florida will then return to the States for the annual SEC-ACC Challenge. The Gators will play in Blacksburg, Va. On Dec. 4, and face-off against the Hokies for the first time since 2014.
On the backend, Florida will close out its non-conference slate with five home contests, hosting South Alabama (Dec. 7), West Georgia (Dec. 14), Florida A&M (Dec. 17), Tulsa (Dec. 21), and Furman (Dec. 28).
