
Florida Tennis Unveils 2025-26 Slate

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Women's Tennis has announced its 2025-26 schedule, highlighted by eight SEC home matches at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex. The slate also features several ITA tournament appearances in the fall.
The Gators will open fall competition at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, N.C. (Sept. 20-28), before returning to the Sunshine State for the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in Lake Nona (Oct. 16-20). Florida will then travel to Baton Rouge for the ITA Sectional Championships (Nov. 6-9) and close out the fall with the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships in Orlando (Nov. 18-23).
Spring play begins at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Raleigh, N.C. (Jan. 25-26), hosted by NC State, where Florida will take on Ole Miss in its opening match. The Gators will then compete at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Chicago (Feb. 6-10).
Florida's dual season officially begins at home on Feb. 22 against Auburn, followed by a road matchup at Arkansas (Feb. 26). The Gators will then return to Gainesville and host Oklahoma in their SEC home debut (Feb. 28).
March brings a competitive stretch of SEC play, beginning with road contests at LSU (Mar. 5) and Ole Miss (Mar. 7). Florida is then set to host Kentucky (Mar. 12) and Tennessee (Mar. 14) before traveling to Georgia (Mar. 19) and South Carolina (Mar. 21). The Gators will close out the month of March with a homestand against Alabama (Mar. 26) and Mississippi State (Mar. 28).
In April, Florida will get back on the road to play the Longhorns (Apr. 2), before traveling to College Station to take on the Aggies (Apr. 4). The Gators will then conclude regular-season SEC play at home, welcoming Vanderbilt (Apr. 10) and Missouri (Apr. 12).
The 2026 SEC Tournament is scheduled for April 15-19 and will take place in Norman, Okla.
NCAA Postseason play begins with the first and second Rounds being held on May 1-3 and the Round of 16 taking place on May 8-9. The 2026 NCAA Women's Tennis Championships will be held in Athens, Ga., May 14-17.
Florida enters the 2025-26 campaign under the leadership of Per Nilsson, looking to build upon its tradition of excellence, having qualified for 36 consecutive NCAA Championships and capturing seven NCAA National Championships.
