GAINESVILLE, Fla. — After six straight dual meets against Southeastern Conference opponents, No. 4 Florida travels to Texas for a quad meet featuring three nonconference teams — Arizona State and Fisk at Texas Woman's University.
Two Gators are proud Texas natives: sophomores Skye Blakely (Frisco, Texas) and Lily Bruce (Kingwood, Texas). Blakely's hometown is just 37 miles from Denton, Texas, where Friday's meet will be held—making it the closest hometown to the competition site.

Last Meetings With Friday's Opponents:
Florida's met all of Friday's opponents in quad action since the 2023 season. Arizona State and Florida competed at the 2023 NCAA Pittsburgh Regional final, with Florida taking second and ASU taking fourth.
Florida closed 2023 regular-season action winning the TWU quad. It was Florida's second visit to Denton, Texas, with the first coming in 2016 in Jenny Rowland's debut as Gators' head coach.
Fisk came to Gainesville to open the 2024 season, taking third in the quad that was won by UF. It was announced in June of 2025 that the 2026 season will be the last for Fisk gymnastics.
Florida Wins at No. 6 Georgia
No. 4 Florida gymnastics showed consistency to hand No. 6 Georgia its first home loss of the season, 197.575–197.325 on Feb. 20 before a sold-out crowd of 10,069 at Stegeman Coliseum.
In a rivalry known for tight finishes, this one followed the script. Five of the 27 dual meetings between the programs in Athens since 1975 have been decided by 0.250 or less — all coming since 2005. Florida improved to 3-1-1 in those narrow contests.
Florida opened with a string of stuck uneven bars landings as the team posted a 49.425 for the event. Kayla DiCello equaled her season best of 9.95 to share the individual high on any event to win bars. UF also got a pair of 9.90s from eMjae Frazier and Selena Harris-Miranda, which tied for third overall.

The Gators took a 0.275 advantage into the final rotation as both teams moved to an event that they were ranked No. 2 in the nation – Florida on beam and Georgia on floor exercise.
UF's beam total of 49.425 secured the win. Harris-Miranda anchored the lineup, matching the meet's high individual mark of 9.95 to win her fourth beam title of the season. DiCello shared second at 9.90 with UGA's Ja'Free Scott.
Harris-Miranda won her second all-around of the season at 39.50. In her collegiate all-around debut, Blakely was second at 39.225.
