Gators Men’s Tennis Inks Alaa Trifi and Chen Ye for Fall 2026 Roster

The Gators welcome two more to their fall 2026 tennis roster.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gators Men's Tennis adds two more talents to their fall 2026 with the signing of Chen Ye and Alaa Trifi.
Ye comes from China with a UTR of 12.55 and a career high ITF Juniors ranking of No. 80. He has won five ITF Juniors singles titles in his career. Ye played in his first match of 2026 against Roy Keegan from England, winning 6-3, 6-3 in the ITF M25 Monastir 3.
Titles Won
Trifi will come to Florida from Tunisia and has a career high ITF Juniors ranking of No. 54. He has won two singles titles and six doubles titles. Trifi has gathered a career record of 95-66 in singles and a record of 62-51 in doubles.
Since the start of 2026, Trifi has competed in four tournaments in Monastir, making it all the way to quarterfinals from the qualifying draw in the M25 Monastir tournament taking place from Jan. 5-11, 2026.
