NCAA Tournament Sends No. 17 Gators Men’s Tennis to UCF for First Two Rounds

After watching the NCAA Selection Show this afternoon, the No. 17 Gators secured a spot in the Lake Nona Regional for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After watching the NCAA Selection Show, the Gators are headed to Lake Nona, Fla. for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
The Gators are set to play Stetson in the first round on Friday, May 1 at 2 p.m. EST. If the Gators defeat the Hatters in the opening round, they will face either the 16-seed and regional host UCF or South Carolina State for the second round on Saturday, May 2 at 5 p.m. EST.
This will mark the Gators third-straight year making the NCAA Tournament under head coach Adam Steinberg and the programs 35th appearance in the NCAA Tournament with a 65-33 record.
The NCAA Championship will be hosted at the University of Georgia Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
