SEC Championships

  • Member of the SEC Championship-winning team
  • Scored points in all three of his events, including making it to Championship finals in the 100 back and 200 back
  • Swam a career-best time in the 100 back to finish eighth overall (46.92)
  • Posted a time of 1:42.10 in the 200 back to place eighth and finished 18th in the 400 IM with a time of 3:46.00

  • Posted a career-best time of 50.44 in the 100 fly at the Texas/Indiana Tri-Meet

NCAA Championships:
  • Qualified in three events where he finished 23rd in the 400 IM (3:46.14), 31st in the 200 back (1:42.19) CB and 33rd in the 200 IM (1:45.83)

  • Registered 31 points for the first-place finishing Florida men after gathering three top-20 finishes
  • His 47.79 100 back time gathered a 14th-place finish while his times in the 400 IM (3:46.61) and 200 back (1:43.07) ranked 17th overall
  • His season-best times in the 400 IM (3:44.96) and 200 back (1:42.19) ranked third among the Florida men
  • Named SEC Freshman of the Week on Feb. 2, 2016, following UF's 185-115 win over Tennessee on Jan. 30 in Knoxville
 
NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION:
  • Participated in the 2017 US Open Swimming Championships, racing in the 200m fly, 100m and 200m back, and 200m and 400m IM
  • Qualified for the B final in the 200m fly, 200m back, 200m and 400m IM
  • Finished the 200m fly final with a time of 2:00.41 and posted a time of 2:02.06 in the 200m back final
  • He swam a 4:26.54 in the consolation final of the 400m IM and finished the 200m IM with a time of 2:03.45
  • Rounded out competition with a 57.61 in the 100m backstroke
  • Competed in the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships, racing in the 200m and 400m IM, 100m Back and 200m Back
  • Earned the top seed in the B Final of the 200m Backstroke and finished the final with a time of 2:01.10, good for seventh in the final
  • He finished the 100m Back with a time if 57.09, while recording a 2:03.72 in the 200m IM

  • According to CollegeSwimming.com, Balogh is the top-ranked recruit in the state of Nebraska and is the No. 14 overall swimmer in Class of 2015
  • In the pool, he has received numerous accolades that include being named the Midwestern Swimmer of the Year Award recipient multiple times
  • In addition, Balogh has broken numerous Midwestern records and has recorded 57 national age group top-10 finishes
