NCAA Championships
- Qualified for the 2018 NCAA Championships, competing in the 100 free, 200 free, 200 IM, 800 FR and 400 MR
- Earned All-America honors in the 800 FR, where the team finished fourth with a time of 6:09.52 (1:33.26 split)
- Also took home All-America honors for a fifth-place finish in the 400 MR (3:03.16, 42.02 freestyle split)
- Placed 21st in the 200 free (1:34.39) and 28th in the 100 free (42.94)
- Posted a career-best time of 1:45.12 in the 200 IM
- Member of the 2018 SEC Championship-winning team, scoring points in all five of his events
- Earned gold in the 400 FR after the relay team finished with a time of 2:47.06 (41.98 split)
- Also earned gold in the 800 FR (6:12.06), swimming a split of 1:33.11
- Took home silver in the 200 free, posting a time of 1:32.97

NCAA Championships
- Qualified for the 2017 NCAA Championships, finishing second in the 400 free relay (2:46.21), third in the 800 free relay (6:09.30), sixth in the 200 free championship final (1:32.79), 28th in the 100 free (43.01) and 48th in the 500 free (4:24.21)
- Member of the 2017 SEC championship-winning team, winning the 200 free title (1:32.18), the 400 free relay (2:47.09) and 800 free relay (6:12.18) and finishing seventh in the 500 free B-final (4:20.94) and seventh in the 200 back B-final (1:43.54)
- Won the 200 free national title at the 2016 AT&T Winter National Championships (U.S. Nationals
- Totaled seven individual and seven relay wins on the season.
NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION:
- Competed at the 2017 World University Games for Team USA, swimming in the 100m free, 200m free, 4x100m FR, 4x200m free relay and 4x100m MR
- He took home three medals over the week, earning gold in the 4x100m FR and 4x100m MR and silver in the 4x200m MR
- Finished 10th overall in the 200m free, posting a time of 1:48.86
- Swam a 49.16 in the 100m free to earn fifth place overall in the final, his best individual finish of the week
- Participated in the US Open Swimming Championship, competing in the 100m free, 100m fly and 4x200m FR during the week
- Finished third in all three events, posting a time of 49.33 in the 100m free, a 52,45 in the 100m fly and a 7:29.71 in the 4x200m FR
- Competed at the 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships, racing in the 100m/200m Free, 100m Back and 100m Fly
- Earned a spot in the B Final in the 100m free, 200m free and 100m fly
- Finished first in each of those finals and ninth overall, recording a time of 49.00 in the 100m free, 1:47.47 in the 200m free and 52.28 in the 100m fly
- Finished 31st overall in the 100m Back, posting a time of 56.51
- These performances earned him a spot on the World University Games roster
- Also competed at the 2017 Arena Pro Swim Series in Santa Clara, racing in the 100m/200m free, 100m/200m back, 100m fly and 200m IM
- Recorded two top-8 finishes there, placing sixth in the 200m back (2:03.15) and eighth in the 100m free (50.06).
