AS A SENIOR (1990) - Moved back into the all-around line up as a senior, winning the season’s first two all-around titles…prior to the 1990 season, Brennalt last competed as an all-arounder at the 1988 NCAA Southeast Region Championships…reliable vault performer for the Gators in ’90, scoring a 9.30 or above in every meet…claimed three vault titles (Gatorade Opener, Nationwide Dual & First Union Senior Night)– all with marks of 9.60…matched her career-best vault mark of 9.70 at the Shands Invitational…set her career-best balance beam mark of 9.70 at the First Union Senior Night to tie for first with fellow senior Amy Beispiel…finished among the top three all-arounders in six meets.
AS A JUNIOR (1989) – Southeastern Conference vault champion with a mark of 9.55…reliable vault performer for the Gators in ’89, scoring a 9.35 or above in eight outings…scored a career-best 9.70 for the vault at the Burger King Challenge (Alabama) to finish second…took third in the Penn State vault competition with a 9.65…competed on the floor for the Gators four times in ’89 – top score of 9.40 came at the season-opener with Georgia College & Towson State.Â
AS A SOPHOMORE (1988) – Just missed All-SEC status by finishing seventh in the SEC Championships’ all-around competition (37.70)…then-career-best marks took second in three events in Georgia dual - balance beam (9.60), floor exercise (9.75) and all-around (38.35)…scored a season-best 9.60 for the vault three times…runner-up in the all-around at both the Kentucky/Georgia College (36.95) and Auburn (37.20) meets…won the Auburn dual meet’s vault competition (9.60)…runner-up in the floor exercise at the Minnesota dual (9.65)…Academic All-SEC Honor Roll selection.
AS A FRESHMAN (1987) – Placed third in all-around in Auburn (36.85) and West Virginia (37.70) dual meets…won vault competition (9.400) at Auburn dual meet…top Gator all-arounder (36.20) at Florida win over Cal State Fullerton…consistent performer for the Gators, competing as an all-arounder in nine meets.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA – 1986 Florida state all-around champion…finished second on floor and ninth in all-around at 1986 Nationals…member of International School of Gymnastics club team…coached by John Locurto.
