AS A SENIOR (1989) - Three-time All-American (all-around (4th/38.65), uneven bars (T7th/9.70), floor exercise (3rd/9.85)…successfully defended her Southeastern Conference all-around title, finishing in a tie for first with Georgia’s Lucy Wener at 38.55…tied for top honors with teammate Pam Titus in the SEC Championships’ floor exercise competition, matching her 1988 meet-record mark of 9.75…finished UF career with six SEC titles – a then-SEC record for career titles…matched her then-Gator All-Time Best mark of 39.10 to win the Shands Invitational all-around title…scored a then-Gator All-Time Best mark of 9.90 for the floor exercise on three occasions in 1989…among a three-way tie for first in NCAA Southeast Region floor competition (9.80)…third in the Southeast Region all-around competition (38.70)…opened the season with three consecutive all-around wins, extending her streak of regular-season all-around wins to 13 straight…tied with teammates Lynette Wittmeier and Tracy Wilson for top honors in the Georgia dual meet beam competition (9.70)…won six floor exercise titles in 1989…tied for top honors in the uneven bars (9.80) with teammate Janice Kerr at the Shands Invitational…earned a career-best mark of 9.80 for the balance beam to take second at NCAA Regionals…won 18 event titles as a senior…consistent all-around performer for the Gators during her UF career – competing as an all-arounder in 57 out of 59 possible meets…member of Academic All-SEC Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (1988) – Earned All-America honors for her runner- up finish in the floor exercise (9.70) and fifth-place finish in the all-around (38.05 ) at the NCAA Championships…all-around champion in every meet but two during the 1988 season – a Gator record for consecutive and season all-around wins (11-straight)…nation’s top-ranked all-arounder for the three weeks prior to regional competition…won the SEC all-around title with a score of 38.60 - a SEC record…also won SEC crowns and set meet records for the floor exercise and balance beam events – scoring a 9.75 for each event…claimed the NCAA Southeast Region vault title, matching the Gator All-Time Best mark of 9.75…won the Coca-Cola Classic all-around title with a then-school record and the nation’s top score for 1988 of 39.10…also set the Gator All-Time Best floor exercise mark at the Coca-Cola Classic meet (9.90)…among a five-way tie for second in the Southeast Region floor exercise (9.65)…won the floor exercise in 10 of 13 competitions in ’88.
AS A SOPHOMORE (1987) – 1987 All-American in all-around for placing sixth at NCAA Championships (37.65)...advanced to NCAA Championships' beam final with mark of 9.40 in team qualifying…placed 11
th in NCAA beam final (8.75)...NCAA Southeast Regional floor exercise co-champion with a 9.80…won Iowa State/Missouri (37.90), Georgia quad (37.65) and Kentucky (37.30) all-round titles…all-around runner-up at UCLA (37.90) and Maryland quad (36.80)…took fourth in the bars (9.60) and tied for fifth in the floor exercise (9.45) at SECs…missed Nutmeg Mills Classic and Louisiana State dual due to an injured knee…won UCLA dual beam competition (9.65)…took first for floor exercise (9.40) and tied for first with teammate Janice Kerr on the bars (9.45) at Kentucky dual…West Virginia dual meet beam winner with a season-high 9.70.
AS A FRESHMAN (1986) – NCAA Regionals all-around champion with a total of 38.10…tied for first on floor at NCAA Regionals with a 9.50…SEC floor exercise champion (9.60)…NCAA Regional runner-up on the beam (9.65)…tied for top all-around honors (38.15) with teammate Elfi Schlegel at Georgia dual…scored team season high of 9.50 in the bars (vs. Georgia).
PRIOR TO FLORIDA - Won the Florida Class I and Region VII Championships six consecutive years…finished fourth in all-around at ’83 National Sports Festival, where she also received a silver in the vault…competed in 1979 Nationals, finishing third in the beam, fourth in the floor and 11
th in the all-around…member of Florida Flippers club…coached by Sei Ito.
MAJOR – Graduated from UF with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1990.
