- Helped lead Jupiter to the State 7A Finals as a senior
- Started 60 games his junior and senior seasons, slashing .381/.515/.597 for a 1.112 career OPS
- Finished prep career with six homers, two triples, 16 doubles, 67 runs and 49 RBI in 176 at bats
- Stolen 12 bags in 12 attempts in his career
- Drew 46 walks while striking out just 19 times as a prepster
- Struck out six times while working 28 walks across 121 plate appearances his senior season, finishing with a .368/.529/.529 slash line
- As a junior, hit .393/.500/.662 with a career-high four home runs and 25 RBI
- Played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Palm Beach Gardens HS, hitting .343/.420/.485 with more walks (nine) than strikeouts (seven) as a sophomore
- Ranked by Perfect Game as the No. 266 recruit nationally in addition to being the No. 27 player and No. 8 shortstop in the state

- Both his older siblings were star student-athletes on the UF baseball and softball teams
- His older brother, J.J., holds Florida’s freshman home run record (18) and was a two-time All-American as a four-year starter from 2015-18
- His older sister, Taylor, was a two-time National Champion (2014 & 2015) as a four-year starter for UF softball
- Following in his sister’s footsteps, Colton wears No. 49 in Orange & Blue
