- Is a 26-year-old sophomore at UF after he spent six years in the U.S. Marine Corp and stood personal security for three presidents and twice for Secretary of State (Colin Powell).
- Uncle (Bryan Flynn) played at UF from 1983-87.

- Finished his duty in July of 2004 and started as a freshman at Florida in January of 2005
- Joined the Marine Corps after high school graduation. Tour of duty took him to 11 countries, including Japan, India and Italy
- While on Embassy Duty in India and Italy, he was part of the personal security detail for former Presidents George Bush, Sr.; Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, as well as Secretary of State Colin Powell
- Served six years in the Marines - three years in Aviation Ordinance (artillery storage and distribution), and three years as Marine Corps Security Guard
