Myers News Press 2005 Offensive Player of the Yearβ¦Dual-sport star at Riverdale High School, playing football and running trackβ¦Led all area backs in rushing (2,027 yards) and touchdowns (31)β¦Also caught 16 passes for 234 yards and another scoreβ¦ His 2,027 rushing yards as a senior with 31 touchdowns led Riverdale to a second-round playoff berthβ¦Ran for 199 yards and five touchdowns, as host Riverdale outlasted an offensive awakening from Estero in a 46-22 win during his senior campaignβ¦ Scored the winning
