2010: Did not dress for the 2011 Outback Bowl victory vs. Penn Stateβ¦ Saw action in the last seven regular-season games after being sidelined with an injury during UFβs first five gamesβ¦ Floridaβs primary fullback for the 2010 seasonβ¦ Graded out a Champion against Georgia, Vanderbilt and Appalachian State.

2009: Played in six games for Florida his redshirt sophomore campaignβ¦ Played a crucial part on special teams and at fullbackβ¦ Saw time versus Georgia, Vanderbilt, FIU, FSU, against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game and versus Cincinnati in the 2010 Allstate Sugar Bowlβ¦ Dressed for his first game of the season on the road trip victory against LSU and followed that by suiting up against Arkansas on Homecoming, but played his first game of the season by contributing to UFβs 41-17 win over Georgia in Jacksonvilleβ¦ Started the season out slow after suffering a torn ACL at the conclusion of 2009 spring ball.

2008: Dressed for five games for Florida during the season, including Hawaii, Miami, The Citadel, Alabama for the SEC Championship Game and Oklahoma for the FedEx BCS National Championship Game⦠Saw his first action as a Gator in the 70-19 rout of The Citadel⦠Named the Scout Team Player of the Week for his role in preparing the Gators for LSU.
2007: Did not see any game action.
PREP: A hard-hitting defender who helped lead Lakeland to its 45th consecutive victory, third-consecutive Class 5A state championship and second-straight USA Today national championship in 2006β¦ Rated 58th among safeties by Scout.comβ¦ Recruited as a linebackerβ¦ As a senior, he collected over 136 tackles, averaging 9.1 tackles a game, seven interceptions, two blocked punts and a blocked field goalβ¦ Scored two touchdowns, including one after he forced a fumble in the state championship gameβ¦ Was chosen as a member of the Class 5A all-state team selected by the Florida Sports Writers Associationβ¦ Had over 100 tackles, six interceptions, two blocked punts, two sacks and six fumble recoveries as a sophomoreβ¦ Named as his baseball teamβs Most Valuable Playerβ¦ High school coach was Bill Castle.
