CAREER: Redshirt freshman defensive end who has yet to see the field for the Gators.

2010: Dressed in Florida’s games vs. Miami University and USF, but did not play and took a redshirt for his freshman season.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA:  Ranked a four-star prospect and No. 7 weakside defensive end in the country by Rivals.com ... Recorded 77 tackles, 14 sacks and two interceptions during his junior season ... Named FSWA 4A Second Team All-State in 2008 ... Recorded 95 tackles, a league high of 22 sacks, picked off two passes and batted down a school record 15 passes during his senior season ... Earned All-League honors in 2009 ... Participated in the 2009 Aloha Prep Bowl ... Also played track and basketball in high school ... Chose Florida over LSU, Florida State, Purdue, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Tennessee and USC ... Coached by Earl Tillman.
