CAREER: Redshirt sophomore wide receiver who enrolled at UF in Jan. 2007.
HONORS: 2007 and 2008 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.
2008: Dressed and saw game action versus Hawaii and Miamiโฆ Had surgery in September for a broken foot and missed the remainder of the season.
2007: Redshirted and did not see any actionโฆ Dressed for home games against Western Kentucky, Troy, Tennessee, Auburn and Florida State.
PREP: Helped lead Lakeland to its 45th consecutive victory, third-consecutive Class 5A state championship and second-straight USA Today national championship in 2006 as a senior with 13 receptions for 268 yards (20.7 average) and two touchdowns in a run-oriented offenseโฆ Caught 36 passes for 489 yards and four TDs as a juniorโฆ During his sophomore season, Wilson pulled in 42 catches for 629 yardsโฆ At the Army Combine held in January 2006, he finished second out of 600 athletes in the 40-yard dashโฆ Coached by Bill Castle.
