Announced his retirement from the game of football following the season due to his 2017 season ending hip injury… Finished his career with 89 tackles, 11.5 tackles-for-loss, 7.5 sacks, three pass breakups, and 11 quarterback hurries… Became the first UF player to seek Master’s Degree in International Business during his playing career... Over the summer of 2017 he spent time in Munich, Germany where he presented a case study to BMW on automatized cars to help fulfill his internship requirements to earn his Master’s in International Business… 2017: Appeared in six games and made four starts prior to sustaining a season-ending hip injury... PRIOR TO FLORIDA:
Registered 6.5 sacks in the first 5 games of his senior year before tearing his ACL… Recorded 110 tackles and 14 sacks as a junior, his first playing on the defensive line… Played left tackle as a sophomore… Invited to The Opening, an all-star summer prospect camp held on the Nike Campus… Invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Game… Chose the Gators over FSU, Notre Dame, Stanford among others… Coached by Earl Garcia.
