National/International Competition:

Finished 10th in 50-yard free at 1998 Spring Junior Nationals with a personal-best time of 21.15...also placed in the top-30 at the meet in the 100 free, touching in 47.05...in relay competition at '98 Spring Junior Nationals, swam anchor leg on runner-up 400 medley relay and 400 free relay...at '98 Senior Regions had his top times in the 200- (1:43.72) and 500-yard free (4:43.32)...at '98 Summer Junior Nationals finished third in the 50- (23.88) and 23rd in the 100-meter free (53.43)...swam third leg on record-setting 400 free relay at '97 Summer Junior Nationals

High School:

A 1998 graduate of Parkview High School...High School All-American in 1998, leading Parkview H.S. team to state title...finished runner-up for high-point total at '98 Georgia High School State Championships...finished second at state competition in the 50-yard free with school-record time of 21.51 and placed third in the 100 free (47.43)...team captain and anchored state champion 400 free relay which broke a 12-year Georgia mark with a winning time of 3:12.63... additionally, swam anchor on first-place 200 free relay...also member of Parkview squad which captured the '95 state championship...swam for Parkview under Rick Creed and for prestigious Swim Atlanta club under Chris Davis.
