Finished 41st at the 2010 Long Course U.S. Nationals in the 200-meter free (1:52.75), while placing 63rd in the 200-meter fly (2:06.09), 36th in the 100-meter fly (55.14) and 47th in the 100-meter free (51.33)… Competed at both the 2009 U.S. Nationals/World Trials and the 2009 U.S. Open during the summer of 2009… Took 35th in both the 100-meter fly (55.61) and 200-meter free (1:51.98) at U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, Ind., while also placing 48th in the 400 free (4:02.39) and 49th in the 100 free (51.74)… At the 2008 U.S. Open in Federal Way, Wash., had an outstanding showing in the 200 free, finishing fourth overall (1:49.55), took 17th in the 200 fly (2:01.15), 19th in the 100 free (50.82), 61st in the 400 free (4:08.84) and 76th in the field in the 100 fly (57.28)… 2008 Olympic Trials qualifier … 2007-2008 USA Swimming National Junior Team member … Recorded a top-five finish at 2007 Junior Nationals in 400 free … 2005 U.S. Open finalist … 2004 Junior National Champion.
At Florida
2009-10: Earned All-America honors in the 200 freestyle (honorable mention) and 800 free relay… Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive year after being the sole freshman on the 2008-09 squad… Picked up his second and third All-America honors after finishing 13th in the 200 free at NCAAs and contributing as a member of the Gators’ 800-yard free relay that shattered a school record (6:15.91)… Placed 19th in the 200-yard butterfly at the NCAA Championships (1:45.17)… Took sixth in the 200 free (1:35.56) at the 2010 SEC Championships...Placed second in the 200 free (1:37.29) and third in the 500 free (4:27.59) against Auburn...Won the 1,000 free against FAU (9:21.27)… Took third in the 400-yard medley relay (3:25.09) vs. Indian River State College...Finished third in the 200 free (1:38.25) vs. Florida state, while placing second in the 500 free (4:28.63) and 400 free relay (3:01.24)...Part of the first-place 800 free relay squad at the Georgia Tech Invitational, while ending up fifth in the 500 free (4:30.56), third in the 200 free (1:38.58) and fourth in the 1,650 free (15:47.00)… Placed third in the 200 free (1:39.08) and 500 free (4:29.57) against Georgia, while joining his teammates to capture the 400-yard free relay (2:59.78)… Took second in the 200 fly against Georgia Tech (1:50.72)... 2008-09: The only freshman Gator from the men’s squad to compete at the 2009 NCAA Championships… Picked up an All-American honor as a member of UF’s ninth-place 800-yard freestyle relay at NCAAs in College Station, Texas… Had NCAA provisional qualifying marks in the 200, 500 & 1650-yard free races, as well as the 200 fly… Placed 34th in the 200 free (1:35.88) and 40th in the 500 free (4:23.66 ) at NCAAs… Named a three-time Freshman All-SEC selection as the top freshman finisher in the 200 free, 500 free and 200 fly at the 2009 SEC Championships in Auburn, Ala. … Placed fifth in the 200 free (1:35.55) after a career-best 1:35.27 in prelims, seventh in the 500 free (4:18.65) and eighth in the 200 fly (1:47.56) after a career-best 1:45.38 in preliminaries at SECs, securing three top-eight finishes… Claimed the 200 free (1:36.38) and 500 free (4:18.19) and took second in the mile (15:15.48) at the 2009 Princeton Big Al Invite, a career-best meet and highlight of the 12 meets Raymond swam in for the Gators his freshman season.
