Career Honors: SEC Academic Honor Roll student (2001-02).

 

Career Highlights: Caught the third most runners stealing (15) in school history in 2002 and was only two away from the school record ... Has the fifth-best fielding percentage in school history with a .983 (311-34-6).

 

As a Junior (2002): Catcher who started 29-of-49 games ... finished with a .195 batting average ... led the team in runners caught stealing ... Scored twice and went 2-for-2 with a RBI in opening day win vs. North Carolina Feb. 8...Hit in back-to-back games twice this season, vs. Florida International Feb. 10 and No.9 Washington Feb. 14 and vs. Purdue March 1 and Texas A&M CC March 2...Went 2-for-3 with a RBI in win vs. Kentucky March 16...2-for-4 with a run scored in win vs. South Florida April 10...Has three multiple-hit games this season ... went 1-for-3 with a two-RBI single against Tennessee ... 2-of-3 with a walk in second game at Mississippi State ... SEC Academic Honor Roll student As a Sophomore (2001): SEC Academic Honor Roll student ... received a medical redshirt after she had two knee surgeries in less than eight months ... had reconstructive surgery on her right knee in October 2000 after spraining her MCL and tearing her ACL in practice ... sat out the first 22 games of this year while rehabilitating ... came back vs. Mississippi State March 14 and re-injured that same knee ...received a right ACL revision to that knee May 7.

 

As a Sophomore (2000): Earned most of her 69 starts in right field, but also shared time at catcher (27 starts) and started as the designated player ... batted a career-high .255 ... team best .600 (6-10, 2 2B, 3 R, 2 RBI) in USC series ... recorded nine games with multiple hits and five with multiple RBI ... committed only three errors in 69 games ... posted a career-high, five-game hit streak March 10-12 (.500, 6-12, 1 2B, 5 RBI) ... career high three RBI on a double vs. South Florida Feb. 13 ... an SEC Academic Honor Roll student.

 

As a Freshman (1999): Walk-on who was one of UF's bullpen catchers, but shared considerable time as the designated player ... had a career-day, going 3-for-4 against Alabama in the SEC Tournament ... recorded her first career extra-base hit against Kentucky April 24 ... recorded her first multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 with an RBI in the nightcap against FSU ... captured her first career hit against No. 4 Washington in the KIA Klassic March 18 ... was awarded a membership to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars ... named to the National Dean's list, College of Engineering Dean's List and is a recipient of the National Collegiate Engineering Award ... named an All-American Scholar by the United States Achievement Academy.

 

High School: A graduate of Green High School ... named first-team All-Suburban as a senior and second-team All-Suburban her sophomore and junior seasons while playing under Coach Brian Tharp ... also earned second-team All-District and first-team All-Suburban honors as a volleyball player ... was named to the Western Reserve All-Tournament team and voted MVP and Best Defensive Player as a volleyball player at Green High School ... was her class salutatorian ... a National Honors Society member ... received the Award of Merit and the Girl Scout Gold Award.
