Jasmine Sborov joined the Flordia Gators coaching staff as the team's general manager in August of 2024, and was elevated to assistant coach in April of 2025.
The Round Rock, Texas native helped lead Florida to a WBIT berth in 2025—the team's fourth consecutive postseason appearance. The Gators upended No. 20 Alabama on their way to the SEC Quarterfinals that season, and went on to win their first three games in the WBIT before falling to Minnesota in the semis. In 2026, Florida posted its fifth consecutive winning season, knocking off No. 19/20 Ole Miss in the process.
Coming to Gainesville was a reunion of sorts for the Colorado grad, as the head coach for much of her collegiate career was Gators Head Coach Kelly Rae Finley. Finley and Sborov also both have ties to Harvard as Finley served on the Crimson coaching staff from 2008-12, and Sborov did likewise from 2015-21.
Sborov helped the Crimson to a 21-9 overall record in 2016-17, including a 8-6 mark in Ivy League play. Harvard went to its fifth postseason over the span of six seasons as Sborov worked mostly with the guards.
In the summer of 2021 Sborov became the director of athletics at Overbrook Catholic School in Nashville, Tenn. She later worked as an assistant coach at Harpeth High School in Nasvhille, while also serving as the owner and operator of Relentless Pursuit Basketball.
As a senior at Colorado, Sborov started all 32 games, averaging 6.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists, graduating with a B.A. in sociology from CU. While with the Buffs, Sborov won the Ceal Barry Colorado Pride Award, given to the player who shows pride in the program through leadership on the court, campus and community, work ethic on the court and in the classroom and who is unselfish and coachable. She was a 2015 All-State Good Works Team nominee and served as a representative with the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.
