Summer (2002) Spent the summer of 2002 in Gainesville improving her strength and conditioning, while completing a few classes... worked extremely hard during the off-season developing her all-around game to become a more versatile player.
Junior Year (2001-02) Appeared in all 29 games... first post player off the bench ... ranked second on the team in field goal percentage ... voted by her teammates as to receive the squad's Most Improved Player award ... grabbed seven rebounds in 14 minutes of action against Arkansas (Feb. 21)... solid game for the second straight outing, scoring eight points with four rebounds against Kentucky (Feb. 14) ... scored a career-high nine points with six rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench at Ole Miss (Feb. 10), sparking UF to the one-point win ... played an outstanding 16 minutes in the upset win at No. 6/5 Vanderbilt (Jan. 24), when she guarded 6-foot-6 Chantelle Anderson, while recording two points, two offensive rebounds and a steal ... snared a career-high six rebounds at LSU (Jan. 10)... tied her career-high by scoring seven points on 4-of-4 shooting against Tennessee (Jan. 3)... scored four points with three assists and three steals in 20 minutes of action against Duquesne (Dec. 28)... tallied seven points with a 5-of-6 effort from the free throw line against Southern California (Nov. 24)... snatched five rebounds in the win over High Point (Nov. 20)... scored four points in her Gator debut (Nov. 16 vs. Oakland)... zero double-figure scoring games.
Miami-Dade CC (1999-2001) Contributed 14.1 points, 10.3 rebounds and blocked 46 shots in 28 games her sophomore season... collected first team All-Southern Conference honors in 2001, finishing eighth in the nation in rebounding... in her second season helped the Lady Sharks into the FCCAA state championship, earning All-Tournament honors for her performance after scoring 25 points with 14 rebounds... averaged 5.2 points and 6.0 rebounds her first year, when she earned All-Southern Conference honorable mention honors... coached by Susan Summons.
High School Graduated from Eastern Commerce High School in 1999... played two years for the Saints basketball team that reached the championship game of the high school city finals both seasons... selected by her teammates as captain her senior season... participated in the Toronto Team A All-Star Game... coached by Ranford Foster.
