AS A SOPHOMORE (1986) - Did not compete in 1986 season due to stress fractures. AS A FRESHMAN (1985) - Although sidelined most of the ’85 season with an injury, Stallone proved to be one of the Gators’ best beam workers, posting a 9.70 mark early in the season…competed in four meets before sitting out the remainder of the 1985 campaign. PRIOR TO FLORIDA - A three-time USA National Team member (1980-83)…1984 National Elite qualifier…finished 10th in all-around at the 1983 Championships of the USA meet…placed third in the beam at the 1983 Caesar’s Palace Invitational…competed in the Mixed Pairs meet in both ’82 and ’84…was a member of the first-place team at the 1983 Pacific Cup and finished third all-around…took the balance beam title at the 1983 Australian Cup and finished fifth all-around…also competed in dual meets against the Soviet Union, Hungary, China, West Germany and Czechoslovakia…placed fourth all-around at the 1982 Championships of the USA. PERSONAL - Graduate of Wyomissing High School. MAJOR - Communications.
