AS A JUNIOR (1987) –Turned in a season-best vault mark of 9.50 in the NCAA Southeast Regionals to take fifth overall…also competed as an all-arounder in the season opener (34.75), but injuries limited contributions…Academic All-Southeastern Conference Honor Roll selection. AS A SOPHOMORE (1986) – Third on vault (9.55) at the NCAA Southeast Regionals…took sixth in SEC Championships all-around competition (36.75) to earn a spot on the All-SEC team…SEC vault champion (9.55)…matched UF vault record of 9.75 vs. Penn State. AS A FRESHMAN (1985) - Earned All-America honors with a fifth-place finish in the vault (9.325) at the '85 NCAA Championships…turned in UF’s season-best vaulting mark of 9.65…NCAA Southeast Regional vault and uneven bars champion and third in the all-around…placed sixth in the vault and fourth in the floor exercise event at the SEC Championships. PRIOR TO FLORIDA – Member of 1982-83 and 1984-85 U.S. Senior National teams...USA National Elite team member…took 13th in the all-around at the 1984 US Olympic Trials…also placed 13th in the all-around competition at the '84 Championships of the USA meet…represented the United States at the 1984 Grand Prix Bordeaux held in France…finished 17th all-around at the 1983 World Championship Trials…was one of the top 10 all-arounders at the '82 Championships of the USA, coming in fifth in the floor exercise event. PERSONAL- Graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High…majoring in physical therapy.
