Chose to retire from collegiate gymnastics prior to 1987 season. AS A JUNIOR (1986) - Turned in her fourth all-around competition of the season at the Southeast Regionals…tied for eighth on beam and bars, scoring 9.30 and 9.20 respectively in the Regional competition…tied for third in the bars competition at the Southeastern Conference Championships, recording a season best 9.40…turned in season bests of 9.30 on beam, 9.15 on vault, 9.10 on floor and 36.40 in all-around. AS A SOPHOMORE (1985) - An integral part of Florida’s lineup, competing in the uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise events…fourth in the SEC balance beam competition. AS A FRESHMAN (1984) - All-SEC team member, winning the balance beam competition and finishing fourth all-around at the league meet…runner-up in the uneven bars and balance beam events at the ’84 NCAA Southeast Regional, finishing fifth all-around. PRIOR TO FLORIDA - Member of 1983-84 and 1982-83 U.S. Senior National teams...placed in the top 30 in the all-around competition at the 1984 NCAA Championships…a three-time USA National Team member…placed 20th in the all-around competition at the 1983 Championships of the USA and 13th in all-around at the 1982 meet…runner-up in the floor exercise event and sixth all-around at the 1982 National Sports Festival…competed internationally, posting a second-place showing in the uneven bars and a fifth-place all-around finish at the 1982 Catania Invitational in Italy…captured the all-around title at the 1980 USA vs. Switzerland dual meet. PERSONNEL - Graduate of Reading High School, majoring in nursing.
