2015-16 (junior)
NCAA Championships: Earned an Honorable Mention All-American status after swimming to a 14th-place finish in the 200-Yard Butterfly on a season-best 1:55.55 mark… also qualified in the 500-Yard freestyle and finished 43rd overall after clocking a time of 4:45.49… SEC Championships: Competed in the ‘A’ final of the 200-Yard Butterfly and finished seventh overall to bring in 23 points… also qualified in the ‘B’ final of the 500-Yard Freestyle and finished 12th among the field of 57 with a season-best time of 4:43.74 to gather 15 team points… rounded out her scoring effort with a 23rd-place finish in the 1,650-Yard Freestyle to bring in a pair of points on a season-best 16:38.65… totaled 30 points upon completion of the conference meet… participated in all 10 of Florida’s regular-season dual meets and registered nine wins (eight individual)… clocked a trio of season-best times at the All-Florida Invitational in the 200 Free (1:50.16), 200 IM (2:07.21), and 400 IM (4:26.03)… finished the season with the fourth-fastest time on UF’s roster in the 1,000-yard Freestyle after touching out with a 10:07.71 against Indiana on Oct. 16.
2014-15 (sophomore)
NCAA Championships: Notched a career-best time in the 500-yard freestyle (4:42.49) and finished 20th in the prelims of the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:55.71… SEC Championships: Finished third in the 200-yard butterfly with a career-best time of 1:54.50… Also placed seventh in the 500-yard freestyle (4:43.15) and clocked a season-best time in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a mark of 16:29.79… Finished runner-up in the 200-yard butterfly (1:59.91) and 500-yard freestyle (4:54.40) in Florida’s dual meet at Florida State… Placed second to teammate Jessica Thielmann in the 500-yard freestyle at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a time of 4:42.79… Competed in three events in dual meet at UK and notched her best-finish in the 200-yard butterfly with a third-place finish in 2:03.67.
2013-14 (freshman)
NCAA Championships: Placed 25th in the 200-yard butterfly (1:56.94), 42nd in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:35.81) and 56th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:48.22) … Her finish in the 200 fly was second-highest by a freshman in that event… SEC Championships: Named as a 2014 SEC All-Freshman Team performer, as she placed fifth (highest finish of any freshman) in the 200-yard butterfly with a personal-best time of 1:55.69… In addition, Katz placed 12th in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:22.58) and 19th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:44.10)… Made her Gator debut at the All-Florida Invitational, as she won the 200-yard butterfly.
